Equaliser vs reporting dashboards
Reporting and dashboard tools (the AgencyAnalytics, Adriel and Looker Studio class) solved presenting data. That was the easy half. Marketers still spend most of the week gathering, reconciling and formatting, and the spreadsheet is still where the real analysis ends up. Equaliser starts where dashboards stop: at “so what, and what next?”
Fair note: if all you need is white-label charts on a schedule, a reporting tool is cheaper and perfectly good at that job. Equaliser is for teams who want the analysis and the decision support, not just the presentation layer.
| Reporting dashboards | Equaliser |
|---|
| What you get each morning | Charts of what happened. Interpreting them is your job, in your time. | A worked read: what changed, why it matters, and what to do about it, ranked by commercial impact. |
| Recommendations | Reporting tools surface charts and can flag anomalies; interpreting them and deciding what to do stays with you. | A fleet of specialist agents produces recommendations daily, each carrying its evidence and a falsifiable projection. |
| Accountability | A dashboard reports; it does not take a position you can hold it to. | Equaliser commits to a recommendation and grades it against what actually happened, and the grade publishes either way, miss included. |
| When the data is broken | Broken tracking renders as a chart like any other. Zeroes look like performance. | Zero conversions over real spend reads “tracking gap”, never “healthy”. A number without a defensible basis does not print. |
| Client output | White-label report exports of the same charts. | Studio packs, our client-ready report bundles: written narrative with the receipts attached, under your brand. |
| Who does the thinking | You do, in whatever time is left after gathering and formatting. | The agents do the gathering, reconciling and first-pass analysis overnight. You spend your time deciding. |
